The hidden track on Matchbook Romance’s Voices played at the end of the album, after “I Wish You Were Here”. The album came with a see through guide that, when navigating through the lyricbook, showed the lyrics of the song hidden in the other songs. For High School CB, it was the coolest thing.
In any case, today was two sweaty balls stuck to the leg terrible and tomorrow will hopefully be better. Look out for one another and try to keep things in perspective. The world’s only as good as we make it.

Most of the America I live in is still good to each other . Break down and cars will stop. Drop a grocery bag and folks will help pick stuff up. A wave at folks in passing usually gets a return wave. And folks sure are better at pass to port in the store aisles than they used to be. Large collections of humans living together seems to be were the problems start.

I’m a firm believer there is more good in the world than bad. But I agree that humans probably work best with a bit of breathing room.

It’s only as bad as we make it too...and there’s more good than bad from where I stand.
Still not convinced by emo but the slight return /revival of pop punk has me giggling a bit...see Stand Atlantic as an example.

This song never really did much for me, but 2005 me could not get enough of matchbook romance.
